d4p completed the transformation of this 1970’s detached house into a modern 21st century luxury living house. Working within the constraints of the Metropolitan green belt, the house is extended by nearly double its existing floor space. This additional floor space compliments the existing layout to create a lounge, office and the kitchen-dining and family room. The large rear door extends the open plan living quarters into the garden creating the perfect indoor-outdoor flow.. The use of timber rainscreen cladding with render and glass provides warm appearance to the house; one which is well balanced between the traditional and the contemporary.
