QUEEN ELIZABETH GARDENS, SOUTHWARK

The masterplan aims to create a sinuous union between the existing heritage character and the ‘avant garde’ design philosophy. Designed to be a vibrant visual amenity as well as a pause point along the journey from St. John’s Churchyard to Potter’s Field Park and into More London.

The design of this space revolves around the sustainability as well as native planting. The use of ‘Mona’ Irrigation systems together with the plants from the GI audit, this project embodies the ‘Green Infrastructure’ concept that is being promoted by the Landscape Institute.
